Renée Ann Borgia — Hospital Manager
Renée is a graduate of Medical Arts Training Center (MATC) in South Florida. Before making the transition to veterinary hospital manager, which she has been doing for the past 9 years, Renée worked as a veterinary technician for 16 years in Florida, Washington, and New York.
In her spare time, Renée enjoys running and volleyball. Other hobbies include wine tasting, cooking, and sign language. She lives with her son Vincent, three crazy felines, Bam, Lenny, and Tulip, and her fiesty Chuihuahua, Señor Sancho Panza.
Kimberly Nicholetti — Licensed Veterinary Technician
Kim is a licensed veterinary technician who graduated from Purdue University Veterinary Technician Program. She has experience in private practice and cardiac surgery in a specialty practice.
Kim is also a licensed scuba diver who enjoys swimming, horseback riding, painting, exercise, and going to the beach. She has a Westie named Tiger that enjoys playing Frisbee on the beach.
Theresa Harte Wackstein — Licensed Veterinary Technician
Terry has been a licensed veterinary technician for 33 years. A SUNY Delhi graduate, she is experienced in emergency medicine as well as private practice.
Terry has a passion for boating, skiing, and animal rescue. She resides with four cats as well as a very patient husband.
Danielle Marshall — Licensed Veterinary Technician
Danny is a licensed veterinary technician and a graduate from SUNY's Delhi Veterinary Science Technology Program. She is a true animal lover since birth with a sincere passion for veterinary medicine. Danny has experience in shelter medicine and private practice.
In her spare time, Danny loves to exercise, cook, travel, and donate small household items and clothing to The Lupus Foundation and Salvation Army. She has a very spunky dog named Louie who loves to play with her pilates ball in the backyard. He is great at carrying it on his back!
Ashley D'Agostino — Head Receptionist
Ashley is Head Receptionist at Baldwin Harbor Animal Hospital. She has been working at the practice since she was 18. Ashley has had dogs since she was about 3 years old, some that were rescued, and others that were given to her. She loves helping animals and can't imagine where else she would be otherwise.
In her spare time, Ashley enjoys bowling, kayaking, outdoor concerts, and spending much time with her close family and friends. She has a very happy dog named Cali who is a Pointer Lab mix. Cali loves running around outdoors and loves to play catch with her tennis ball!
Amanda Alfonso — Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist
Amanda graduated NCC with an associate's degree in biology. She continues to study undergraduate in pre-vet.
In her spare time, Amanda cares for her family’s hens and pheasants, along with her rare, yellow, double-headed Amazon parrot who can speak both English and Spanish! Her other hobbies include photography and running.
Cathy Bernius — Client Care Specialist
Cathy worked as a veterinary technician for 10 years. After taking a hiatus to raise a family, she returned to the veterinary field and enjoys serving the clientele at Baldwin Harbor Animal Hospital. She lives on Long Island with her family that also includes her Weimaraner, Sterling and Russian Siberian Cat, Tavi.
Andréa Garcia — Pet Care Attendant
Andréa, one of our compassionate pet care attendants, currently attends Barry Tech's Veterinary Science program. She has been accepted to the SUNY Delhi Veterinary Technician program.
Teresa Spitalny — Pet Care Attendant
Teresa is one of our caring pet care attendants. She attended Nassau Community College and graduated from Barry Tech's pet care and grooming program. When she's not at work, Terea enjoys music, drawing, reading, and taking care of her animals. She currently has three dogs and three fish.
